As Autumn nears and the leaves are coloring & falling, I wanted to highlight some ideas for Autumn and Fall weddings. Pumpkins, warm color palettes, apples, leaves, and DREAMY Pinterest worthy photos of you and your spouse. As an event planner, I love a good theme, and Autumn is no exception.
According to WeddingWire’s 2019 report, out of the top 5 wedding dates in 2019 – 4 of them were in the Fall. That’s nearly 40% of all weddings taking place within the months of September, October, and November. Statistically speaking, it seems most couples are just as much as in love with those changing seasons as I am.

Though most couples do seem to be tying the knot in these three months, there are still ways to make your wedding day stand out. FALLING (pun intended) toward candles, warm lighting, and warm wedding colors all can be the perfect complement to the season. Perhaps incorporating some pumpkin flavoring into your wedding cake layers or using leaves instead of roses as you come down the aisle would be a good tribute to your choice of seasons. If you want to go more classic and subtle, using an accent like a pop of orange within your bouquet flowers or warm browns to round out your color palette will do the trick.
There are numerous combinations of colors and patterns that you can utilize to help highlight the theme of your wedding. Many brides have kept things traditional, but then added flair like s’more take-home boxes for their favors, using that as their unique customization for the season. Other brides utilize the whole season as inspiration and create a perfectly themed wedding fit for Fall, from stationery to shoes! One of the very best parts of my job as a Certified Wedding Planner is to help you create the vision and wedding of your dreams.
