Wedding traditions are one of those “tale as old as time” honors that many use within their wedding plans. As a wedding planner, I have had the privilege of witnessing countless wedding traditions from all around the world! While every culture and region have their own unique customs and practices, there are certain traditions that are universally loved and celebrated by couples and guests alike. Here are a few wedding traditions that never fail to bring joy and happiness to the big day. Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue This traditional rhyme has been passed down through generations and is still popular today. Advice from Real Brides & Grooms!!

Each year, I ask some of my couples from the year prior to share some advice/tips and memories from their wedding, so those of you reading this may get some ideas for your wedding!! Grace & Joe, who were married at The American Visionary Arts Museum, were asked these two questions: What wedding planning advice do you have to pass along to future Events by Lexi couples? Recap of 2022 Weddings and their Venues

2022 was a fabulous year for weddings! Having an increase of 25% over the number of weddings in 2021, these 2022 weddings allowed me to see how my couples were creating fun and fabulous weddings! In this post, I’d like to share just a little about the venues I worked at in 2022 New to me venues this year included: Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, MD. I have worked at a couple of Martin’s locations, but not this one! It was lovely with a beautiful grand entrance, and multiple ballrooms to fit your needs. Caboose Farm in Sabillasville, MD, nestled in 200 acres, this venue has multiple locations for an outside ceremony – the Glade (by a stream), the Meadow (at the base of a hill), the Infinity Field (which views the sky), the Flattop Field (with a few of the venue property, and the Hilltop Vista (also with a view of the property).
